In conjunction with Access Model Management, we offer professional grooming courses which are available to anyone wishing to pursue a career in modeling. In these courses, we cover deportment (carriage and gait) modeling poses for camera and catwalk, wardrobe, make-up application, hair styling etc. We also offer courses to people wishing to improve their overall appearance and sense of style. PHOTOGRAPHIC SERVICES
We provide a professional photographic service. If you are a model, actor or any other visual artist, having professional photographs, enhances your marketability immeasurably.
For a model, having a zed card/composite and portfolio is, in most cases, a prerequisite for getting work. A portfolio is the body of photographic works compiled by the model and presented to prospective employers in a professional folder or 'Book'.
The Zed Card which was invented by Sabastian Sed (a German), is the model's photographic resume. It is a representative summary of the model's portfolio to date. It should consist of a selection of the model's best photographs printed on an A5 or A4 Card. A proper Zed card should have the agent's contact details plus the model's name and vital statistics.
In order to source work, it is also necessary for make up artists and stylists to have a portfolio (showing samples of their work) and a card.
An actor (whether serious or comedic), should have a Black & White A4 or 8 X 10 headshot to accompany the cv. This is a must if you wish to present yourself as a professional to casting directors, directors and producers.
Like everything else, 'First Impressions' count and when it comes to variety artists and musicians, their professional presentation is crucial. A well composed band shot can be the difference between an A & R department taking notice or throwing the presentation in the bin. The format varies in accordance with the artist's needs.
